My Specs:
Emira V6
After hearing rave reviews and good pricing I thought i would give Grundy to see if they would insure. But i was a little disappointed with them. I dont now how many people are using them because they wont allow driving to or from work, or even used for running an errand or as a backup vehicle! Basically, they cover use cases of just sitting in a garage and that seems about it. Kindof ridiculous as it surprised me. I cant believe so many use them because they must not actually do any driving.
I currently have State Farm for my other vehicles but they are pricy and dont have AGV.
Does anyone have any alternates that have Agreed upon values? (other ideas are welcome)

I know these exist but perhaps i am missing some:

Hagarty (with agreed value)
State Farm
USAA
Farmers

I use Open Road Insurance. Felt like a good middle ground between Hagerty and Grundy in terms of price/coverage. No nonsense about when/where you can drive it. It just can't be your daily driver and needs to be stored in a garage.

I tried getting an online quote from them for my 24 Emira V6 and they rejected my quote. They said "unfortunately, this vehicle/risk does not meet our underwriting criteria and we are unable to offer coverage" I might have better luck if I called them but it seems they arent insuring. Very odd since you are using them. Maybe its because I said i would drive 5-7K miles per year?

That's very weird. Pretty sure I have a similar mileage usage estimate. It could be location based, I know they still aren't fully rolled out in every state. I'd try giving them a call to confirm, they were very helpful and easy to work with when I called them to get set up.

Hopefully they don't kick me when my current policy is up. 😅
