What was the last TC transmission that you drove? In modern BMWs for example the ZF transmission does in no way feel disconnected or slow by any means. Those transmission also bypass the converter most of the time, so there you have your direct connection as well.

No, that‘s not what happens. More the other way around. It revs to 2.000 after startup, then falls to 1.000, and then recovers to the rpm for cat heating (roughly 1.300). After that it goes back to normal idle (1.000 on track mode). It shouldn’t drop to 1.000 immediately after startup.

Ok, good to know. Then mine seem to be completely fine. My cold start also improved quite a bit. After startup in track mode, the revs drop to roughly 1.000 rpm for two or three seconds and then go up again to 1.300 or so to heat the cats.

I have a tool from Autel, not only a Bluetooth adapter. I only had a few minutes to have a look today. The tool says they should be between 0 and 1.275V. Both showed 1.275V when the car was off. After startup, the initially did nothing for a few seconds, but started working normally thereafter...

If you still have trouble with your tracker, just write a mail to scorpion track and they will probably fix it remotely within minutes. That’s what I did.

Those two suckers do a really good job of keeping the car intact!

I definitely can feel that effect, too. As if you get an extra 30 hp at 6k rpm which instantly catapults you into the limiter.

My Emira parks outside with no roof or whatever and has no issues. And it has definitely seen a lot of rain so far.

Mine has no problem with quick shifts from first to second under full load. However, I find it very hard to hit the shift from second to third under full load and close to redline. It has probably all to do with the right adjustment of of the linkage.

My brakes were super sharp and grabby when new, especially at low speeds. After bedding in, pedal feel got better and easier to use. I won‘t bet that yours will behave the other way around.

I'm very sure the guy who wrote the press material for China just did a mistake by stating the 2.0 to have 400hp. He probably just translated the whole UK press material and exchanged "3.5l SC" with "2.0l Turbo", because there was no V6 planned for China, but forgot to change the horsepower number.

And unlock your car before disconnecting, not only the boot. Otherwise you will hear another not so nice, but very loud sound from the car :)

For sure. But to be fair the noise was only really audible in standstill and the woofer works really good in my car. Now there are no noises anymore and the Subwoofer does a very good job, as does the rest of the system. I'm going to drive 400km on Monday and will have a second look at the valve...

No need for a dealer. Just drive the car ;) The cars generator can load the battery.

Nope. Doesn’t charge the SOS system as far as I know.

As far as I know, the SOS system has its own tiny battery. This battery can only be charged while the engine is running and drops a fault if the charge is low, so the fix should be to just drive the car ;)

The „tool“ should be in the same bag as the tire repair kit in the trunk, however it‘s just a standard Torx driver.

Makes no sense because first, a Volvo gearbox wouldn’t fit and second, Volvo doesn’t build automatic transmissions ;) it’s the same gearbox as in the Evora, only the shifter changed, but it obviously was no mechanical control in the Evora in the first place, so no big deal to change that part.

I just saw a video about a Golf TCR, which is a proper race car with a sequential gearbox, where the clutch is only used to get it moving. They are rebuilding the gears every 2.000 km :)

I sometimes have similar problems. At first it was fine, but for the last week or so it sometimes nearly stalls after a cold start, and then somehow manages to recover. I have not received any software updates yet. Do you already have more infos about what causes the problem?

DTM is for GT3 cars. Komotec planned to race in the so called DTM Trophy, which is for GT4 cars. Unfortunatly, the ADAC which now owns the DTM cancelled the Trophy series, so there will be no Emira racing...

I was 27 when I ordered and am 29 now. Got the car about six weeks ago. My use case is kind of a daily driver and fun car, because I sold my Tesla to make the Emira happen. However I somehow managed to have four cars atm and all four of them with only two seats, which means I need another one...
