haha that's a good bit of scrolling and I feel the same when I see one. I've had 2 Megane 3's and love them, anyone that says a FWD car doesn't handle hasn't driven one! I still think that it's one of the best 1 car garage options to do both road and track.

I went back to the Nurburgring last week and managed to go round in under 8 minutes so very pleased with that! The car has still got more to give but I'm very conscious that I need to drive it home afterwards... Great fun though, very happy with it :D

You can tell android auto to not connect automatically in the settings. Even though its wireless, if I'm doing a reasonable length journey, I plug it in with the cable to charge the phone and my Samsung doesn't get hot.

Thanks, it's the sports set up and I'm very pleased with it. I don't daily drive the car but I think its a good balance for road and track, it's compliant enough on the road and works well on track.

There's a little bit of squeal but nothing offensive and a quiet pad that works with heavy track use doesnt exist imo. Wheels are ceramic coated so no issues with brake dust.

You're correct that there's no driving through (without stopping) on TF but it was on a track day. I can see from my video footage that it was about 26 seconds from Gantry to Bridge 👍

It took me 26 seconds to get from Gantry to Bridge so you can add that to the BTG time for a full lap but get ready for the driver excuses... With a heavy passenger and a few cars slowing me down, I'm pretty sure I could cut at least 20 seconds off my time so I'd expect a professional driver...

Having tried many different pad types in previous cars, winmax W5 are now my go to pad as they bite really well, never had them fade and they last a lot better than the alternatives. I've now got them in the Emira, my MX5 track car and my Leon Cupra daily that does occasional track use.

I've been down to single figures remaining a couple of times and even got it to zero whilst gingerly trying to get to a fuel station 👀

The wind noise in the first vids posted seems bad but it also seems like there's a lot of wind noise at the start of each video before he's actually driving so I think it's just the camera microphone he's using. There is a bit of wind noise in mine but nowhere near that level and to be honest...

There's a little bit of body roll but not a massive amount and you don't want a road car to corner too flat to be honest as the downsides far outweigh the benefits on the road. It'd be good to see a few more pictures from the outside on track to see what it's doing so will hope to get more on...

Agree that it's good Porsche let you change spec until much later but it doesn't always work out as planned...
