Yea I remember when I was young I went to HK and Japan for their latest cool stuff, nothing like that ever show up in the states. Now it just switches from Japan to China.
That's just my observation, and also what these tuners told me. I guess the fact President Trump did on tariff doesn't help neither, shipping company like UPS and Fedex require Chinese shippers to pay advance deposit for the tariff in case importers decide to ditch the shipment, so many...
The front spoiler works as expected on Nurburgring for speed over 200, Boomgear is also working on a rear spoiler that uses the same attachment as Jubu.
It's not as straight as what the western media tells you, I am here on this forum ain't I? Sure you can't access Google or YouTube in China's network because Google refused to comply with China's regulation such as setting up local servers for data storage but other western companies such as...
Just another excuse for their bad customer service. I have seen installation photos of the Jubu wing a long time ago so whatever trade secret there is, it's been a public knowledge, beside it's not like this is some rocket science.
Yea I am engaged with my family's vacation here in China and totally miss out this opportunity. A bunch of other owners join Ryan on the trip and looks like they have so much fun!
Haven't really talk to him yet.
You know you are always welcome!
If noise is not a concern for you, I would go for a well design SS straight pipe. Cheapest, lightest, and sounds really badass through out the whole rpm. Some of the new straight pipes come with modified valve control so NO CEL as well.
You will love the sound of the Mach5 downpipe, combined that with a well design SS muffler, the sound is toxic. Adding a JB4 and it will be slightly deeper and louder, finally sounds like a proper sport car.
Seems like the downpipe has pretty good performance gain, I have a full exhaust and a dry filter upgrade as well. Your baseline is very helpful, thx bro!
Looking at my log, JB4 keeps the boost pressure more consistent than the ecu psi which explains the smoothness you feel throughout the entire powerband, I like how the power is delivered as well.
STFT at 34, around 5 psi out of target 5.7. It's not too bad running the wire from the wheel arch to the cabin, I am afraid if you tap into the can bus wire in the back you might have more warranty concern.
Making a correction, after I read more closely on the log for Map 4, it does kinda work with just 98 Ron fuel but it does not hit target boost as consistent as in Map 3 and runs a little rich AFR at 10.6 & TRIMS at 34.0.
I have a feeling this is just another product that your local importer get from China, and they are very low price if you know where to look such as Alibaba.
Map3 is an additional 4.5 psi which is good for 98 ron fuel. Map4 is 5.7 psi which I have tried with just 98 Ron fuel but wouldn't work and fall back to Map3. Problem now is the calibration for measuring boost is inaccurate, I hope JB4 will fix that soon.
I know that and I am probably the first one to say that on this forum. I am just saying the owner of that car who got the latest update no longer being able to go above 400hp on his info screen and he also felt the car is less aggressive after the update. We believe the original software might...
I did for the most recent one, so was a majority of owners in our local club, when one of our guys can certainly feel a little less aggressive and also the display will no longer reach 421 hp.
My Turbo just came back from the dealer replacing the whole AC unit for a faulty temperature sensor. When the temperature sensor is not working probably you will have a very cold AC until the the inner tube got frozen and no more cold air could come out hence the cabin getting very hot. There...
