Can't know for sure without being there but some of these cars saw a bit of sanding from the factory that may not have been polished out before delivery. It should be easily corrected (based on your photos only).

They're fine. Yes you have to push harder to lock up the tires but I prefer the modulation. It's held up fine to back to back runs on autocross and some repeated hard stops.

I do hear a noise that I'd characterize in the realm of tapping/pinging but it's not getting more severe under higher loads and higher revs. If there's something actually wrong, I'm sure it'll let me know in more ways than one.
