Had prices back this morning. In UK both sides are available (upgraded) and will be about £100 inc vat for each side so not completely silly money but enough!

@kitkat re Looks like it's P/N 8890572619 which was then discontinued and replaced by P/N 8899012919. Called the following: HDL ASSY-FRT LH DOOR OTR OPENING Did you keep a record of the new P/N from the RH side? I will have a go at sourcing a pair over here. Cheers

@kitkat now steady on! I now need to check if the revised mech price is cheaper than the flowers 🧐 Are they a Lotus part or from a Geely parts bin? I called my local dealer yesterday then gave in and emailed just to book a service so pretty futile going through them i fear

so this is obviously going to be a problem on the pax side out of warranty as the number of use cycles will take much longer to catch up.......

My drivers side has just done the same (RHD). Its due a service but I would rather do what Kitkat did and do it myself. I didnt have a lot of time so stopped at the point of getting the inner panel unbolted to reach up inside. I was pretty gobsmacked at the weight of the door card assuming a lot...

In my Emira Auto I can and do wear anything including rigger boots!! Elan and Exige are impossible to drive without narrow shoes without a welt. Had sparcos in the past now got Puma Drift Cats. They are brown and leathery so look like normal shoes. As far away from anything sporting or ball...

mine did it ages ago when it ran out of fuel etc.. Things which might get rid of it..... PITA visit to a dealer Code Reader and delete it (I bet this works best). Battery Disconnect? Not recommending anything just guessing...... (y) And as suggested in the thread you might find its gone next...

I am a rare V6 Auto Tour owner. From new and almost 18 months in. I was looking at the possibility of an Evora 430 IPS just as the Emira was mentioned so held off then ordered the day the name was issued. I have 4 other 2 seaters all manuals and 3 of them are 'Loti'. Didn't want another manual...

Slightly leftfield but as folk are posting opinions.. I think cars like this are interesting and some details do make it into real cars for real people. For me most supercars are just dick swinging nonsense and difficult to use in 'normal life'. I'm not a hater and did consider a McLaren before...

More photos from The NYLOC Whitby event on the Pier….. it was all a bit ‘yellow’. I was thoroughly impressed by the Nimbus car. Black badges very subtle but looked fantastic. Not a fan of silver but it looked awesome in the flesh. Also a V6 Auto like mine. 👌
