Got some new intel today about the Chapman Bespoke program and the Emira. Sounds like books will open sometime in 2025 for custom spec Emira orders. Both V6 and i4 will be available to spec, but no confirmation on hotter S/R/GT versions just yet. Really looking forward to see what they can do!

I've used VHT spray without baking in an oven and it's fine. The can says you can bake at 200°F (93°C) for 20 minutes or just let the heat from the engine do it. Just spray a couple coats and let them dry before reinstalling.

OK, so Jason at Lotus Philly said he's pretty sure he can pull rev report logs with their scan tool and if not, the logs can be sent to Lotus HQ or someone and have the logs read by them. Either way, it's very possible and something I'd want done when potentially buying a pre-owned Emira. I know...

I was told by multiple service reps that the logs can be (and are) pulled. Specifically focusing on break-in period. They should be able to see how long certain rev ranges were held and how often over revs happened, etc.. I'll call my tech and ask now...

$300 is reasonable. It's a fairly easy job, especially if they already have the under tray removed for an oil change.

Correct! Just the gold magnetic drain plug needs to be removed to drain the oil. The black one is a -10AN female fitting (for use with supercharger return lines) and there is another one on the opposite side next to the 1/8" N.P.T. fitting (for oil temperature sender).

Today I pulled the under tray and inspected the Moroso pan for the first time since I installed it on 12/31/2023. Happy to report zero issues! No leaks, everything is tight, and pan looks good. I have a pinned story on my Instagram page that includes all Moroso related videos for those interested.

Exactly this. I remember carefully cleaning the MAF with indirect electrical cleaner on my Subaru STI's K&N intake. FWIW, the Evora crew prefers the AEM DryFlow filter. They're ~$60 on Amazon for the Evora (I assume the Emira is a slightly different size).

Hm.. Good point. This is what I found here: UTQG treadwear rating means that the manufacturer took the tires to a testing facility, put it on a test vehicle and measured it against a standard tire with a 100 treadwear rating. If a tire is rated 300, that means it is expected to wear three times...

Completely agree! Plus Lotus actually used Lamborghini's paint for the bespoke jobs. It's super high quality.

For reference, Verde Ithaca and other bespoke paint jobs were an $8100 option on the Evora GT.

Finally! We were supposed to get this pricing over a year ago. Magma and Seneca being premium colors makes sense. Kinda surprised Nimbus isn't with them. Hopefully we'll get some bespoke LAP option pricing soon.

Yeah I haven't heard anyone complain about the F1s and these cars have tons of grip. They're actually pretty hard to slide out. I'm guessing you ran over an oil slick or something. @24EmiraUS

Michelin PS4S or Conti ExtremeContact Sport 02s.. or Firehawks Indy 500s if you wanna save a few bucks. All 3 come in OEM Emira sizes. I went with the Conti ECS02s for my GT.
