More V6 Emira Rant in this months issue of CAR…..

The A45s has some fancy electronically controlled twin clutch pack e-diff on the rear of the car, so I’m hoping it would have something similar….. otherwise it will be inner braking e-diff. For a road car, it’s fine to have e-diff, but not sure how folks think about it on here

totally agree… why didn’t lotus give Journos Tour spec cars for road tests?? Not many reviews had Tour!

What’s with the sound and music mix in this video though! High pitched whine dubbed on top and THAT music is so annoying to my ears.

Not for the noise, but some consolation exhaust note would be appreciated. And yes, for the lower centre of gravity, DCT and slightly lower mass and power upgradability and AMGness.

There’s definitely enough black contrast in the interior to go light on light…. I’m planning to brave the Yellow and Tan with BP….

I think the AMG i4 is an awesome engine with amazing specific output and the DCT was described as brilliant box in the Emira by Jenson Button recently. Not quite F6 911 GTS territory, but a 4 banger turbo naturally suits lotus heritage, whereas not so much in a Porsche.

That’s a very fair comparison, only thing is that it is a on paper interpretation comparison, not an actual review piece from real world experience. At least they were being fair. I4 AMG DCT will be the next big media embargo I suspect…..

I don’t get the automatic bashing? A decent Auto sequential and DCTs are far more efficient way to change gears and way faster, not to mention their ability to handle more torque….. just let people choose their spec and be grateful we all like different specs….. V6 /i4 / Auto / DCT / Manual……...

That’s VED rate is for above 255g/km - strange!? Should be one lower bracket…. Maybe they have upped the redline to 7200rpm after reading the forum 😂
