So fitted a Jack Webb Motorsport Li-Ion battery this morning……10.1kg saved. Also thought the battery bracket was a bit over engineered so trimmed that down a bit. Not sure how much weight that saved, but I felt better after doing it!

Any tips on getting the airbag off? I can see through the hole and see the metal clip. I’ve put a tool in (I’ve tried both a screwdriver and an Allen key) and I’m pushing the clip towards the dash. However, it feels solid. It doesn’t move at all and the airbag won’t release. Am I missing something?

There was an Australian Company that was making them for the Evora 400, so presume it’d fit an ‘Emira. They were happy to ship worldwide.

I have the opposite experience. Matt Windle wasn’t interested. He ignored 3 registered letters. He ignored more than 6 emails, he ignored 3 phone calls and answer-home messages.

Keyless entry is too much of a security issue for me.

Blind spot warning is about the only thing that I would have, but even that I’m not too bothered about. All the rest, keyless entry, adaptive cruise, lane departure, speed warning, I absolutely DON’T want and would pay to have them removed.

No I didn’t. The dealer just told Lotus it had PPF, submitted a quote to Lotus and they approved it. No communication with me.

I had the PPF replaced FOC for my doors, FOC for my front bumper and FOC on the roof.

There are parts of the exhaust Ona. Panigale that doesn’t see any airflow.

I presume you’d need an OBD extension cable if you have a UK car I.e with the steering wheel on the correct side.

I don’t know but knowing Lotus, I would guess that a lot of these changes will be mainly marketing and there’ll be little that you’ll actually notice (apart for the cosmetic differences and options of course). Then at a later date you’ll get a faster, lighter special edition

I echo your comments, I was a life long Lotus fan, from the days I used to walk past a Europa on my way to school. However, owning the Emira and having to deal with Lotus ‘Customer Care’ has slowly, but surely beaten it out of me.
