In the early days of the forum someone posted an image of an (I think DV) Emira mocked up with a pinstripe and LOTUS on the sill. I’m thinking of doing something similar on mine, but can’t find the image- can anyone point me in the right direction?

I’m sure someone on here said the cars go from the factory to somewhere near Oxford for PDI, then back to factory for collection/onward delivery. Doesn’t sound particularly efficient does it?!

Still sending mixed messages🙄 I also had call from Alex at Lotus today. He confirmed spec over phone and followed up with e-mail, but clearly stated I could change spec up until next Thursday without jeopardising November delivery (I am 14th July deposit & in UK if that makes any difference)

Can anyone tell me where I can find the link for trade-in valuations? Looks like December delivery for me, so not ideal time to be selling my Cayman. May have to offload sooner rather than later, and chance further delays, rather than being at the mercy of Lotus ….

It was the oil cooler. We had an extinguisher so got it out quite quickly. One of the more mechanically useful guys on the trip bypassed it, which kept it going for another day before it finally gave up the ghost. Ariel were very good about it all, and it was all covered under warranty...

Great cars, but there is a downside-did a road trip across northern spain in 2019 in a Nomad. Brilliant fun, but on day 3 we were hurtling along and hit a patch of manure in the road where a herd of cattle had clearly spent some time. Spent the next couple of days trying to get the smell out...

I had a good look at the number plate mounts when I was at the factory last month - there is a black block fixed to the top surface of the front lip. Then there is a thin black metal bracket (probably 200mm x 50mm?) affixed to the front of this block. If this was a UK car, and number plates are...
