Im dropping my car off for its break in oil change and to diagnose my ticking in 5th and 6th on Thursday. Not sure when Ill have it back but it wont be by Friday morning. If I can get it Friday afternoon Ill come on Sat but its unlikely if they have to dig for the tick.

Its probably so it can phone home. Everything collects your data now.

I kind of like this. It uses rubber baffles but it will be easy to swap and at 170 you don't get more expensive than the moroso option until your 5th replacement assuming you cant find the rubber parts by themselves for cheaper.

Its probably the fuel pump. DI engines have higher pressure fuel pumps that tick. You could try the old Italian tune up on it though. If its from the valves, some revving could get them seated better.

That's a pretty healthy bump in price if thats base pricing.

Id just get the whole thing done but I can say that from a quality of life aspect, having anything gloss black wrapped is great for your sanity because you don't get the swirls if they correct them out before placement.
