Back in February at the Lotus event at the British Motor Museum either Gavan Kershaw or Russell Carr (I can't remember which) hinted that production badges would be changing over to the black versions at some point and this now seems to be about to happen "soon" - so perhaps the yellow and green...

When comparing e.g. Toyota with Lotus Hethel - wouldn't that depend on how many stations there are on their line, compared to Hethel, and how much work is done at each station, and whether tasks are manual or automated though?

That assumes that 100% of production capacity will be allocated to US V6 FE's, and we already know it almost certainly won't be as UK and Europe i4's start in July and through the rest of calendar Q4 and onwards too (the production line can cope with mixed builds)......

One lap of the main Hethel track is 2.2 miles and I would guess at least 2 or 3 laps if an individual car is tested on that (accepting that not all are nowadays, probably due to new production volumes).....
