Seat frames made by Lear. Lotus add the padding and leather etc. Supplied in bits by others, assembled in Hethel would be more accurate.

I thought about silver calipers with ice grey to match things up, but decided the yellow looked better and no real need to coordinate inside and out.

The yellow paint looks great next to all the others. Black/no black, silver/black/DC alloys all work. Interior red and tan are the only 2 I’d avoid. I think it’s probably the most striking FE colour and you’ll get plenty of thumbs up!

These are not quite the same as current factory ones. They have 3 horizontal bars on the back. Better than this!

There are a few new pics on the Nimbus colour thread worth looking at. The red does indeed go darker in lower light conditions. In the shadows it becomes very reflective and moody looking :cool:

Told that switching build details 1 week after the locking in deadline, moves my estimated delivery slot from September to 2023! Really??

Confirmed by Nick the guide, cars on the line no longer have the exposed mesh gear linkage. Instead there is a solid black blanking plate. Anyone know anything more?

From what I could gather, the 2 piece (FE Standard, extra on base) are made from a 2 stage casting. The centre is more lightweight alloy(?) for less unsprung weight, and the outer disc steel. They are a single unit that cannot be unbolted for replacement unfortunately.

Nimbus is definitely similar. Perhaps less smokey and a touch warmer. Very close to the original Titanium Elise S1. The silver wheels show a distinct difference in colour tone (colder/more silver) on the Emira.
