I intend on doing a few track days a year in the Emira. What should I buy? I assume a helmet for ease. But should I be getting different pads, tyres, oils etc? What changes are needed from stock? Also, do i need to do any prep and/or after track checks?

Probably all picked up before the £6k hike. Plus they have to price them to sell as anyone realistically interested in these cars have been waiting for years, so won’t mind a few more weeks to get a new one with exact spec.

Its always been an option. I picked black pack and Alcantara with a yellow stripe, had to pay for them all as extras. Had to pay more for auto version too.

We will see how many ICE cars are removed from the roads when they; keep moving the entry conditions and prices for green zones, add loads more tax to petrol, tariff new parts to discourage repair, etc etc. People will start abandoning ICE cars as it’s too much hassle and too expensive to own...

How can it be corroded? Some water entry point, i assume, do you know where? A car will sit in the rain for months and not have this happen

I was thinking the same. We must have a law in the UK that allows us to return the car. Even more so when you are paying hundreds a month for a car you do not even have??

With all these seemly battery-related issues, does anyone have experience with portable chargers? Something I could charge up at home, then leave it in the boot for an emergency? I don't drive much, day to day, as i WFH. My Merc complains after about a month of not doing a 30 min or more drive...

Take a look in the boot. Some guy here didn't get a tracker fob, and it was in some bag in the boot. who knows what you might find!

I had to test drive a manual, not driven one in years, was fine. Still got to feel the power, and how the car moves etc. Im getting an Auto, but still think it was worth it. I have not tested the auto... just buy hope its great. :/

Not Emira but my new cars have always had miles on the clock when picked up. A combination of testing and moving the car around ports/factory/delivery routes etc. anything around 5 miles would be normal imo

For sure. But we have seen cars with the orange headlight strips floating around, which I believe are US cars? And Lotus US stated they are being released in December. If I was a US customer I would feel certain that id get my car at the end of the year. The i4 however... i'd expect a delay.
