Washed the V6 today while the i4 is at a friend's place getting the magnetic shift paddles install and the fake engine noise input wire cut.

Thanks for putting in the Magnetic paddles and cutting the wire. I was wandering why I can't ever get the i4 KEF sound to match the V6 using the same setting and source material. Didn't know that the fake engine sound input was messing up the whole system.

Yea and I plan to have old fashion paper maps with me but it's more about needing roadside assist as the Emira does not have a physical spare and not punctures can be fixed with a patch kit.

Last shipment Q3 2025 and I think Lotus padded the order quite a bit so there should be enough for 2026 as they did say in the investor call a couple months ago and that V6 will probably not have a 2027 refresh like the i4.

Already built mine but I was told that this is not the 2027 refresh mentioned during the investor call a couple of months ago so I'm holding off till they release more detail on that.

Name me an alternative new car for under $300K. I'm planning on trading my V6 in for another before production ends (be it 2026 or 2027) and I'll trade my i4 in for a new one after the 2027 refresh.

Tariff is base on the price the dealer pay to Lotus, not MSRP so the additional 7.5% will result in an increase of about under $6K. I forgot how much they charge for paint, wheels and KEF for the Base but I think they're about the same or just slightly higher.

V6 is working for me, you have to scroll over and down and hit the "Configure" button.

Pretty good review as he at least went into more detail on the difference between the i4 and V6 and why it's more nimble but he needs to spend more time with the DCT in track mode. Sure, it's not as quick as a PDK but then again what is? I felt that you can learn to adjust for the less the 1/4"...

There is nothing like an Emira. This is the most engaging car you can get for under $300K. Over a year since I got my V6 and my eyes still get drawn to the Emira everything I enter the garage. As to if I would buy one now, well I did pick up an i4 in Feb so I hope that answers your question.

The PPF saved my Emira a month ago. Parked for 5 minutes to pickup takeout, did not notice till the next day. Luckily, the PPF took it all and the paint was fine after the shop removed the PPF so had the fender and spoiler rewrapped for $800. A repaint will probably cost the same or more and...
