Doesn't this key only work with keyless entry? As far as I know the Emira doesn't have any buttons/sensors on the handles so I don't think we can get an activity key

Yes, were I to do this I would definitely make sure that the belts being fitted had gone through the correct approvals. The link I shared claims they have those approvals for example so I expect there are valid aftermarket options out there

For those in the UK, I know Lotus Silverstone have someone who can do the liquid PPF, I can't remember who I spoke to but he said you're looking at about £5k for the whole car to be done.

That's pretty much my philosophy, I don't need a particularly practical car, my partner's car is practical, I can go for something silly and sporty now, and sort all the sensible life stuff out later once we are forced not to drive ICE cars anymore

The flap over the button is sprung so it closes once you've started the car. It's supposed to protect you from leaning on it

Sorry, I wasn't clear in my last message. I think the intention is that the final payment makes you up to the 10% rather than being a 10% payment, so you'd be adding another 3k to make up 8k including the existing 5k. It's expected you'll have 90% to finance/settle on delivery
