Thanks to Gator for being good stewards of customer cars. This entire process has been a case study in mismanagment on Lotus' part, so at least Gator and other responsible dealers are doing what they can to honor their customers significant investments. Much appreciated Gator!!

Seems like Lotus' communications are still hit or miss. Not sure how they parce out which customers get email updates and which ones don't. Seems to me that all current deposit holder regardless of production timeline should be getting updates. That's certainly not happening

It adds lightness to the wallets of the purchasers....so in a way its in keeping with the spirit of Lotus.

So that begs the question...Why the baffles for the GT and not the Emira? At some point and for some reason Lotus thought the V6 needed baffles. Now they switch back to a stock Toyota sump. Except for cost cutting it doesn't really make sense. I guess if any track driven Emiras start...

Alot of early position holders have bailed leaving the dealers with cars that aren't spoken for. Not surprising since Lotus is world renowned for its superior communications and customer service.

I have zero faith in the California tree hugging pencil pushers at CARB to do anything "on time". My guess it'll be done the last possible minute and in the interim they'll look for any excuse to kick it back to Lotus. Not trying to be positive or negative....Just pragmatic:-)

Its the end of the "ICE" age...So for a car that looks this good, has a manual transmission, hydraulic steering, has wireless apple carplay, and is the most focused drivers car on sale today...ITS WORTH THE WAIT!!

Black Pack option includes Black Exhaust Tips. The non black pack cars come with a brushed stainless tip. Rather than spending $400-500 in replacement tips it makes much more sense to swap out with another Emria owner who also prefers the opposite. If anyone is interested in swapping with...

I got the black pack and thus the black tips. I plan to swap out for the aluminum tips. If someone has a set of aluminum and wants to exchange for the black let me know.

Speculative information at best. Cite your source and provide believable bona fides. If Lotus can't deliver a 400 hp car the are opening the door to a class action lawsuit. This is less than the evora gt, so HP/emissions are likely not the problem.
