Pulling Fuse 22 in the boot means the Vantage exhaust is full bore all the time - sounds epic. Pulling fuse 22 inside the passenger compartment will mean something important in your Vantage no longer works!

That's why I have a 996 Carrera 4S, it's also why the Vantage doesn't come out when there is frost, ice or snow! The 4S is staying, the Emira is replacing the Vantage and I expect the traction to be considerably better. You get used to driving in our weather but I do yearn for better...

Prophetic @TomE, I will be painting shadow in shadow as the finale to the Emira Art series, it just felt right.

I was anti DV+Tan for some time, even posted on here about it: "To retro, too trad, too classic for a contemporary car...." Then something flipped in my head and I fell in love with DV+Tan! And yes @Leonard, silver wheels and yellow calipers for me - top combo!

Great share - thankyou! I'm DV with tan, I've been in an Emira with the Ice grey interior - it's lovely but note it is a very light grey. It will still work, just a matter of preference.

And yet (spoiler alert) , it was Ferris and his mate who ended up trashing the car!

On an off-topic tangent, one time I was driving to Bury St Edmunds with a Colleague we nearly never got there as he couldn't get the satnav to accept it. I soon discovered the issue - he was trying to enter the address as "Bury Street" in "Edmunds". He is no longer with the company.

That's a great shot, not every car suits white - but the Emira most definitely does, first time I saw it in white I loved - then saw the white GT4 - WOW!

Many of you will be familiar with the process by now, here are the key stages in getting Nimbus from the screen hand-drafted onto the canvas, pre-prepared with 3 coats of gesso. This represents about 6 hours work, precision in everything is vital otherwise I'm painting on shaky foundations...
