Emira JB4 Tuning Now Available for I4 & V6 Cars!

Really easy, just by opening the App and tapping "Maps" in the lower menu bar and selecting the map you desire. Switches fast as well.

Emira JB4 Tuning Now Available for I4 & V6 Cars!

    1) What I've found so far is that you don't need the OBD wired connection to change maps via the JB4 App, as this is achievable by the Bluetooth feature of the wireless dongle. I did it myself w/o the connection. What you do need the OBD connection for however, is to get data transmitted to the...

Emira JB4 Tuning Now Available for I4 & V6 Cars!

Installed my JB4 today, initially programmed to Map1 (91 octane), took her out for a trial spin, but struggled to notice much of an hp increase at all. I then changed to Map2 (93 octane) and, wow, I immediately and most definitely felt the increase. My Emira has a GRP High-flow Media (blue)...

How to delete "service notice" in display?

I haven't discovered any other functionality for it so far and the driver's manual mentions no purpose other than re-setting the servicing cycle.

How to delete "service notice" in display?

I'm not really convinced that it does work because 1) the instructions do not refer to a yellow warning triangle rather it refers to a wrench symbol and, 2) there's no way, certainly none that I've discovered so far, to confirm that the service cycle re-set was actually accepted after following...

    No side intake grilles?!

Update... I went to check on my Emira's rear trunk lid and, while I never really noticed it before, I found that same rubber trim there. Mine is a November 2023 build. Obviously, I don't know how much water seeped through before Lotus place that trim, but in my case, when water accumulates on...

    No side intake grilles?!

Interesting, but does that simple rubber trim really stop water from dripping in to the engine bay when the lid is opened? Seems like the most it would accomplish is to help guide water to the edges, but perhaps you can share if it has been in fact effective or not. Thanks

    Shift Knob Replacement

I'd prefer aluminum in order to ensure the same texture and color of the OEM.

Emira JB4 Tuning Now Available for I4 & V6 Cars!

Whaaat? I placed my order through GRP on May 6th and still waiting on shipping news on mine. I would have thought that Berger would honor ordering queues, particularly when they are bulk orders. Go figure.

Good news. While hoping it will never again be needed, perhaps it would be useful for others going forward if you can post where you purchased and the price of the new axle. Thanks

Emira JB4 Tuning Now Available for I4 & V6 Cars!

Florida residents are lucky enough to have access to a wide range of octane levels at the pump. I'm unaware of any "octane-meter" being sold in the retail market making the measurement of octane levels in a tank practically impossible. I've often wondered if the labeled octane shown at the...

    Shift Knob Replacement

Actually, imo the worst part of it is the mismatched color/finish.

    Shift Knob Replacement

No reason that adapter couldn't be copied. Seems less complicated than the knob itself. Unfortunately, Raceseng went out of business.

    Shift Knob Replacement

Not necessarily. I have a Receseng knob and their adapter is adjustable and keeps the knob very firmly in place. No set screw needed.

Yes, a 2" diameter would be nice with no set screw. The hole in the back bothers the heck out of me.

Brake break in, no disc issues.

btw, I have EBC Red pads and 12mm spacers all around.

Brake break in, no disc issues.

I never had noticed but went to check on mine and found that same edge scarring on my discs as well, but oddly it's on the front ones, not on the rear ones. There's a score on one section of the perimeter of the left and right disc. This make me suspect if they come from factory like this, but...

I ordered on that same day and we just missed the first batch, but Greg mentioned that depending on the amount to be received from Berger, we should be on this next one.

Emira JB4 Tuning Now Available for I4 & V6 Cars!

Just for some clarification, the need for an OBDII constant connection to the JB4 module was addressed earlier in this thread by @mr.suntorytime whose Emira, I believe, was a test mule for the JB4. In his post of May 7th he said: "the cable that needs to go from cabin to the engine bay is the...

Installed my Radium Catch Can today. Many thanks to @silent cilantro for his help in designing the adapter and guiding me through the process with all the parts needed. Based on the results of his last post, I decided to install a single Radium can which I connected to the rear PCV. This is...

Interior trim around rear cabin window supposed to be loose at top?

Hi Blat, I'm not sure if you've already done this, but you need to. First, remove the 2 small side panels in the back shelf area where the subwoofer is on one side and the boot release cable is on the other (they are only secured by clips). Then, remove the large vertical carpeted panel which...

Interior trim around rear cabin window supposed to be loose at top?

Hi Adam, When I removed the rear shelf trim piece for my soundproofing project, I also noticed that wide gap and loose fit in the window/trim area, particularly in the top corner section of the plastic trim piece. I ensured that all the trim pice clips had been properly aligned and locked...
