Deep down, I feel the same way. However, it is a commercial product developed and marketed for profit, so would only be fair to have the logo of the business somewhere. A screw-on metal plate that the end user can choose to modify as fit would be nice.

Just a whole bunch of ridges (for.increased cooling) and maybe a small VF logo in the bottom right corner works for.me. No lettering, no licensing hassle, minImalist design.

I would suggest you zip tie it so it doesn't rock 'n roll all over the place.

Looks nice. In the final version, will the "V6", horizontal line, and "SUPERCHARGED" be in silver (clear satin?)? Also, if the "VF" logo can be lowered to the same height as the other lettering, I think it will be more subtle, and we might shave a few more grams. I'd love to see the color...

Agree. Just want to stay away from diagonal lines because they will not match up with my carbon fiber weaves, and it will drive me crazy. An inverted image of the inner side, showing the location of the fins might be cool as a back ground, with a simple "SUPERCHARGED V6".

I'm with you on the branding part, but hey, I think the manufacturers deserve credit for the development and all. The "VF" logo in lid color would be clean and official looking. Or should it be "V6 SUPERCHARGED" ???

Do the anchors for the lower 2 belts (lap belts) go "on top" of the OEM lap belts, or should they go "under" (between the anchor point and the 4 point belt) ?

We have yet to see the final design and colors, but if it is what I hope it is, please count me in.

Yay! If one design is "EMIRA V6" in silver (clear showing the base aluminum) with everything else in the base color (dark grey is my choice), that would get my vote. The OEM look: "EMIRA V6" instead of "LOTUS" in silver, "VF" instead of "V6" in base color.

The same applies to "EMIRA"? Replacing the "LOTUS" with "EMIRA V6" will keep the OEM look. Even better if the anodized layer is machined off and a clear coat applied...

Correct. I was referring to pure (99.9%) toluene, the stuff that petrol companies use in their gasoline mixes. It burns but is also a strong solvent, so can't mix too strong.
