I know what you mean here, but the color is actually darker than those pictures that make it look baby blue. that said, I actually don’t mind the slightly lighter blue look at times.

Really depends what you’re after. I’m confident that the Emira will be the more emotional, more engaging drive. That said, the GT3 is technically and functionally in another class. But it should be, given it’s pretty much twice the price.

What did you think of the car in person? Does it have a road presence at all? Draw the eye?

I will be the minority here and say that I'm not a fan at all. Maybe I've just been looking at too many photos of the Emira, and it's an unfair comparison looks-wise, but it just doesn't work for me.

The white on black pack is particularly striking on this vehicle and those wheels.

I agree, the grey car doesn’t have the presence of the blue one.

I’ve noticed this and wondered about it for a long time now. Some have said that they dropped the blue car as it’s a press car that’s meant to drum up interest, but that production cars will be the height of the grey one that Jenson us driven. To my knowledge, the touring and sport suspensions...

Makes the car look lower and sleeker too with this combo. Only way to go IMO.

Definitely like the grey interior. I think could go either way with the black pack, but including it would make it slightly more modern looking, if that’s the goal. I agree the car doesn’t suit the traditional green/tan though.

The type 42 V8 R8 has 414hp and 317 torque. The dimensions are almost identical too, with the Emira being only 1cm narrower and 2cm lower in total height. Source. As I said, almost exactly the same.
