Any sense on how fast the overall queue is being cleared? Hard to tell from here because so many individual stories of either delivery/still waiting. Wondering if dealers are now “caught up” or still backlogged for weeks.

I’m interested in this too. Dealer doesn’t seem to know the answer. Is there normally a time in the year Lotus moves from one model year to another?

All good points - for a real car. The one in question happens to be vaporware though.

The MC20 is one of the few cars for sale today that look equal/better than the Emira (IMO). That’s says a lot about the Emira.

If that section of the manual is a lie, I assume the whole “don’t put the car in sport mode for the first 1k miles” is also a lie.

I got the email survey too. On the interests section, I was hoping for more options, like: • Broken promises / dreams • Being manipulated • Things that say “Soon” • Poor communication • Questionable quality control Just some ideas for a future survey, Lotus.

Can you imagine just straight up lying so you don’t have to help a customer who dropped $100k on a product you sold them? Crazy this is still a thing.

Does anyone know - from start to finish - how long it takes them to manufacture an Emira? I'm not sure if this car would qualify as being "hand built" but it feels like a fairly labor intensive process.

I know - sorry folks, there is no key fob protection plan, nor should there be. It was a joke about Dallas requiring either PPF or ceramic coatings at the time of delivery.

Did you buy their optional (not optional) key fob protection package at the time of delivery? If not, you’re out of luck.
