In the old days I always opted for aftermarket wheels because most factory stock or optional wheels were so awful/heavy to begin with. But these days, tons of stock and optional wheels are so good from the manufacturer that there's no reason for me to swap.

This is the ugliest wheel+interior trim I've ever seen, made worse by wrapping it entirely in Alcantara. The thing with Alcantara in road cars is to use it sparingly (same with CF), otherwise it looks tacky as hell.

Odd to me that my M2 Comp Front Ride Height is 2mm lower at 123mm. I would have expected the Lotus to be a hair lower, not an M2C.

+1 A high quality PPF like Xpel Ultimate, installed by a meticulous PPF team, will last quite a while. I specifically chose a particular PPF team to do my M2 Comp because they do the giant PPF sheet, cut and "tuck" method, versus slapping pre-cut pieces on the car, leaving tons of areas exposed.

125mm should work okay for me; my M2C is 123mm and it can clear my sloped driveway. Would also like to know what side and rear clearances are.

I second this. I much rather pay the money to get PPF done and enjoy the car worry free; PPF is the most important first step to do when getting a brand new weekend toy, imo. My M2C is about 2 years old now, and *knock on wood* it doesn't have a single scratch on it because on Delivery Day...

PPF wise, I did full frontal and "high traffic" (rocker panels, rear 3/4 panel, lower bumpers, etc) areas on my M2 Comp. If I could do it all over again, I'd do full PPF on the entire car, as it makes the entire car easier to detail. Hence, for the Emira I'm doing full PPF.

I'm very keen on experiencing the KEF system. My M2 Comp's H&K system is utter garbage, but I can't be bothered messing with aftermarket options.

I'm starting to realize "Lotus Communications" is an oxymoron.

Manual for me, allows me to enjoy my car not only at higher speeds but more critically..........at low speeds. This is something an automatic simply can't do, IMO.
