Take a cable with you... CarPlay/Android Auto initially need a cable connection to then go wireless. But what @shaank says is exactly what I said a few pages back after my test drive. (I also happen to have specced HY with no upper black pack (although black wheels and Alcantara interior)

On my drive it did hold it, so it must be a setting

I wear Asics trainers - size 10.5, not especially narrow, no issue with pedals - I was able to heel and toe as the pedals were perfectly placed

Per my previous posts, I tried it with CarPlay with some bassy music (deadmau5) and there was definitely bass and it sounded pretty good to me… I wasn’t expecting burfmeister in an aluminium and plastic car…

From what I gathered from the car at the b&c open day, is that the fm/dab is ‘ok’ (and likely due to the ariel as aluminium isn’t great for these it seems) but via apple carplay, it sounded pretty good at medium volume.. I tried deadmau5 which is pretty bassy, and it dealt with it well..

I listened to the KEF at the B&C open day - wasn't lacking in bass for me.. so maybe a mess with the sound settings is needed

This is right… a small tweak will dial out the understeer.. Gav has said they have to set up for safety due to the target audience of the car..

Evo will get a sports/cup2 car imminently based on what one of the lotus folks said at the b&c launch last week… the vette has more horsepower and was on 4s tyres which are more track focused than the Goodyear. let’s wait and see on that before we say lotus should have built a better car…

Just so you all know... my wife just got a new Mini - BMW modern 3 cylinder engine.. they recommend a running in period as well.. build revs up once over 1000 miles... I know Lotus have screwed up communications, but its starting to feel like if a bolt isn't the right colour, there will be a 78...

I am 6’1 as well… got comfortable very easily with loads of leg room. Seats felt good to me

ok... so at Bell and Colvill today, I was early to the event, and we connected an iPhone to the car play in the Emira, and played some Deadmau5. Sound was clean and bass good. I am not concerned about this system now at all....

We got there early and tried the stereo via wireless apple carplay… sounded great with decent bass… so to end the speculation… the kef system sounds great 👍

I was lucky enough to be driven round Thruxton in a 992 Turbo S by Karun Chandok, it was so fast and so capable.. but almost too good, when he drove an Alpine A110 on the same day, he said it was more fun and engaging... that says it all to me..

Harry's was at reveal or pre-reveal, so before Goodwood. Schmee was pre Goodwood as well from what I know - his ride up the hill with Jenson was arranged well before the event based on what I heard..
