    Manual shifting improvements

Should also add that the dealer mentioned that the crossgate cable end that Aerie provides does not fit for the Emira. I believe this was designed for the Evora/Exige. The install guide does say this is optional though. Would be nice if Aerie changed this part to suit the Emira

Got powerflex yellow inserts. Didn't notice any difference to NVH at idle or driving but got an exhaust at the same time so that overpowers everything else

    Emira Standard Wheel Alignment Settings?

Got an alignment done by the dealer. Wasn't aware the ride height was different between touring and sports (I have sports with goodyears)

    Manual shifting improvements

Got the aerie short shifter and powerflex gearbox mount inserts fitted today. Probably one of the best mods. Completely changes the shifter feel - almost as good as a Honda

    Emira Titanium exhaust interest...

Just picked up my car from the dealer with the Aerie exhaust and heat wrapped y-pipe installed. A lot louder in tour setting and sounds more deeper (almost like a turbo car and its now at the point where the exhaust is louder than the supercharger whine). I'm sure the sound will change once it...

According to Aerie, no ecu adjustments required.

    Emira Titanium exhaust interest...

I got it mainly because I plan to get their heat shield headers in the future (they don't have a non-heat shield version) and figured I might as well match everything up

    Emira Titanium exhaust interest...

Received my Aerie exhaust. Incredibly light. Wish the tips were a bit more rounded and had the logo stencils like the stock ones

    Manual shifting improvements

This would be my preferred option but it's a lot cheaper and more convenient to get both (plus a bunch of other stuff fitted at the same time)

I've ordered both of these so will update once they are fitted

Haha I started working on it at sunset

    Carbon fiber bits

During and after install. The holes for the mounting screws aren't threaded so the stock ones won't stay in place. Contacted them and they are sending a set of nut and bolts

Is it actually easier? I've not removed the panel but the access hatch has been secure for me

    Carbon fiber bits

Received the engine surround from Jogon Carbon (went with them as they offered it first). There a few scratches which I am hoping I can polish away. Noticed that all these aftermartket engine covers don't have the removable flap for accessing the oil dipstick (not sure if this becomes...

    Emira Titanium exhaust interest...

Are all of these in track mode? Is it a lot louder than stock? Any reason you didn't swap to the titanium tips? And for the Y-pipe, did you get the heat wrapped version or not? Apologies for all the questions...

    Won't start half the time

So this happened to me as I was trying to disembark the Spirit of Tasmania ferry over the week. Took 4 attempts before it fired up. Super embarrassing to hold up all the cars behind me from exiting the ferry

I'll get my dealer to look into it along with some other issues that have popped up since my break-in service. Hoping this resolves it, although a shorter shift would be nice as well :p

    Buggy infotainment

I just did my break-in service a couple of weeks ago. The dealer updated everything and addressed all the recalls that were specified for my VIN along with an oil change. This doesn't seem to have solved it. The only other way to resolve is to leave the car off and locked for 15mins or so.

    Manual shifting improvements

Coming from a Honda, the manual shift in the Emira feels lacking - not as buttery smooth, notchy, reverse is a pain to get into etc. In the past I've improved manual shifting feel by changing the shifter cable, inserts and ends along with stiffer engine mount inserts. I am wondering if the below...

    Buggy infotainment

There are occasions when the infotainment system completely bugs out. The 'Home' button doesn't do anything, AA/Carplay doesn't load and sometimes the AC controls move to the left (usually on the right). The only way I know of to resolve this is to disconnect and reconnect the battery. This...
