Yeah - "twitchy" could imply either tram lining or bump steer, neither of which my Emira does (nor any others I have driven). But if the alignment is out you could definitely get either. It's just such a vague term to use, they could mean anything really.

I haven't seen a review yet that explains what they mean by "twitchy". I think "twitchy" implies random, unexpected movements - what we actually have is steering that is much more communicative than a car like the Cayman - that's one of the reasons I prefered it over the Cayman on my test...

There's an awful lot of people biased against the Emira due to Lotus's poor handling of the Emira launch/delivery, quality control and the poor customer service not just for owners but for prospective buyers, dealers, reviewers and the press. Such a shame for probably one of the best cars Lotus...

That's sad to hear but I think you have been more than reasonable here. I hope it does all get sorted out in the end - what a shame that your experience with what should have been a fantastic car has turned into this.

Is that is due to you ordering custom offsets? I ordered some standard wheels from Aerie a couple of weeks ago. I was hoping I would have them in their quoted 5-7 weeks delivery time.

For those outside the US - I think the scales are showing in lbs so these disks are 20lbs each - so around 9KG. I'm not sure how much the stock brake disks weigh.

Sorry to hear that, so this was a April 2025 car with the issue then? Good news it is getting sorted under warranty. Any pictures? Which dealer is doing the work? Also be sure to post up here how it all goes please - it'll help others with the same problem, myself included.

It'll be the clutch - it really stinks doesn't it - like burning rubber and plastic. Almost certainly not, you've just taken a few miles of the life-time of the clutch pads - they are a disposable item and that's what they are there for.

I never really use the radio, so I can't be sure. But checking now in my Emira - it has remembered all of the DAB radio stations I have marked as favourites.

Yes, you are correct. My mistake, just checked i4 is hydraulic with an electric pump for pressure.

Sure, whatever is happening it is not right. Note that i4 steering is just electronic it's just the V6 that is electro-hydraulic.
