Im guessing nowhere near 100,000 current build schedule is 5/6k a year even if they built 10,000. year that would only be 50.000 in the net 5 years. Worldwide the Emira will be pretty rare especially when you compare it to the EV projected sales from Geely.

I’m locked in for production for May apparently, not even sure what batch I’m in . Always thought I was in the first batch, clearly not.

Here in the UK all build slots for the T are taken so any deposits put down for the T from now on go on to the 992.2 version, that could be well over 2/3 years away. Thats why I switched my T order to an S so hoping for a Q3/Q4 2024 delivery.

Apparently it's for cars April/May onwards, the link will only be sent 3 months before production that's why the May build emails are going out from today. Apparently the cars from April onwards don't have any glitches either (I just made that last bit up) 🥳

It's not an app it's your own personal link that Lotus email you, when you log in via the link it will ask for a six digit security code which is also emailed once requested. Good on Lotus, this might stop us calling customer service.

My friend had a complete engine rebuild on a 2 year old 718, covered under warranty of course and I’ve witnessed a 992 days old coming back into Porsche with oil pissing out of it. Diagnoses ….. abused

It seems they are getting cars out the door to get the revenue in, I suppose they had to make a choice... Cars delivered revenue coming in.. Or more delays and a lot more drop outs. Lotus can't seem to win, sad really with it being such a beautiful car and more hype than I can ever remember...

You're right this isn't exclusive to Lotus its common with Porsche too, cars that are days old coming back with oil pissing out of them. It's usually when the driver takes the car beyond its limit to early , it seems that's not the case here so strange one. might just be unlucky.

Emira On Order

I’m pretty sure the answer to your question is everybody.

When Ade lined up all the Emira colours in his YouTube video I noticed a V6 auto there, also at the Eletre launch a few of the Lotus guys said they had driven it and were impressed, so they are about.

You would have thought the press would have had it by now, but at least things are moving.

Just a heads up to inform you my Auto V6 April build May delivery has now moved forward a month so the same is likely for everyone else. Again I was told this on the chat option on the Lotus website, no email of course.

On the online chat customer service told me last week that type approval is complete for the V6 auto, its still not showing up on the car insurance sites. You would think type approval is complete as V6 auto depositors on here have received their protect emails options already.

I have heard so many different scenarios from different dealers which I find odd, I have also read several different scenarios, the truth is no one knows other than Porsche Germany, I guess they feel releasing this information too early may affect the current 911 market so we will just see how...
