Nothing happening to suggest they will handle thing any better than they have the Emira.... Perhaps when the reviews come out, and the public..... not the enthusiast ..... who I think will be less forgiving, not see ordering on line as "Delivers consistent and highly personal shopping...

You know it was pointed out to me the other day... The last time lotus launched a car 2008, the world was in a mess and the stock market crashed, as good as the car was.... its lauch was shadowed by that....... sales tanked Now we have the Emira..... and boy the world is in a mess..... interest...

I hope this does not come true..... my money will be going else where :)

Oh yes PR BS...... once again tells us the mind set of people running the show. Had to laugh.... they do a media launch, dont even update the website front page with a link, no mention of DRIVE any place other than the media page. They talking about collection from Hethel when its still not...

So do you still feel for second call 3rd Dec 2021, get car Dec 2022 ? you seem to have handle on this.... I realy begin to feel i need to look at other options, Lotus seem inable to sort things out, I think despite all the good will, the company is going to kill its self..... Still after all...

Having done both Bike and Car advanced it helps you to cut up roads..... even within the speed limit. Its not help me yet with my tracked vehicle driving :ROFLMAO:

To get GTS 4.0L the same spec..... you looking at over 80K, and still not double wish bone susspenion, to get that you going GT4. BMW M2 comp.....its a hot hatch.... not a sports car...... apple or orange ......both fruit, not the same

Modification / new ...... all been talked about at lenght..... lots of companys mod chassis then say its a new car.... With the amount Lotus have changed on the Emira..... I am calling it new..... Having seen both Emira and Evora with out body the day we spent there

I said nothing about blowing engines. If as you say the "The changes to the springs behavior are very close to 0 percent". why bother. You change the CG, changes how the weight loads, how much the suspention gets loaded up, how load is put in to the tyres..... how you generate grip, not even...

That you think that about changing CG will only have benefical effect..... tells me all I need to know.. I mirror some of what @TomE says ..... " I take the view Lotus spent many hours developing the setup and I'm less inclined to do big modifications. I guess I'm also more wary now, having...

Ok perhaps....... I just dont see the point of messing..... the dampers may fit.... You dont know how the inners are set up......do you ? I met one of the guys setting up the Emira the day we went...... He could drive rings around me.... and i think most on the site..... I asked him about...

I might be talking out my head..... But as the Emira body shape causes down force once moving, which in effect pushes the car down, loading the suspention, compressing the springs...... you lowering the car could causes rubbing ? Am sure considering one of the things Lotus are best known for is...

Got to love your optimism...... :D Scott said he had hoped that video had been about the set up of suspenstion...not the modes.... He went as far as to say he thought it was going to be....... Clearly coms internally are about as good as to the deposit holders :)

HearHear...... said so well..... like I have said before its taking the shine off the purchase. Questioning what the ownership is going to be like. I keep saying this, what Tom said, basicaly they know the messed up, and are not will to change..... Pluss and I know some are going to think this...
