Really? Take out a loan for a car that has yet to be delivered? At this rate it would have almost been paid off before they actually deliver the thing. Who wants to pay for a car they haven't received?

It's abit unfair if we have to pay a higher rate because of Lotus' incompetence to get the car out on time. Yes I realise the finance company is different, but If they delivered as planned we would have had the lower rate

i personally take what CS say with a pinch of salt nowadays. So many times have they confirmed there wont be any further delays, this is it, you're one of the earliest orders etc and you'll be "right up there"... etc and yet , further delays came and they cant answer why..... The left hand...

Or the media team themselves didn't know either....maybe internal comms is just as bad

Well articulated. If they had kept to original timelines i would have taken the car as is without a shadow of doubt, without the need for a test drive. As with the same concerns as you, delays , more time to think (Smartly) , talks of parts being exchanged, what we were originally offered...

My thought also,FE could be a bargain with all the options but I'm not interested in all of them ,but I am doubtful lotus will keep to the base model price(although how does this sit with early depositors?) I've been pushed back to October build November delivery,but I doubt that will happen...

As the excitement for the Emira has all but gone especially with first customer deliveries going to Europe now and not the UK,I'm rather miffed and demotivated for the FE and considering postponing for the Base model. Has anyone established an options costs yet? Would anyone be brave enough...

I'm also fuming,for a UK manufacturer not to deliver in its own country first,especially when I presume most early deposits were UK also. I am seriously contemplating downgrading to base spec at this rate, the excitement has completely gone now....

I may just postpone my FE for this colour ❤️

These are just pre production handbooks released to the public, with 3d printed style copy and paste on parts they couldnt be arsed to read proof. The full , type-approved manual was on the way to felixstowe but will now be delayed for a further 6 months, like the cars mwahahaha

Wait,so let me get this right-you have had until NOW to lock in your spec and your delivery is November ,YET most of us that deposited early had to lock in JANUARY without making any changes,before seeing the latest configurator and are still also NOVEMBER delivery (October build)...

Exactly my line of thought aswell now,Tom,but with Ferrari. I've lost that excitement for it now with not just the delays but the poor comms and lack of clarity, I'm closer than ever to pulling the trigger on an Italian and moving to base emira ,whilst keeping deposit in but i imagine that will...

I am getting royally f£%cked off with them if this is the case and they delay yet again, just tell us now without leading us on so we can get something else in the interim.
