No Clue really. I am i4 but afternoon 8th July order and in the Nov build Dec delivery slot. I am aware on one on here who has a Nov delivery i4 but most are Dec delivery or early 2023 so I guess I am in the first 200 i4's, prob more like 100-200 range but I am guessing really.

To the comments about Lotus's selective quotes in that email. What did you expect them to say? "Press declares our new Emira as a bit Meh and not quite as good as a Porsche!"?

I agree with most of your post but we are not talking average. Average income in the UK last year was £38.5k. I have some friends and acquaintances in that earning range and there is no way they could get £10k together for a luxury item even if it was going to potentially make money for them...

I was undecided Seneca vs Magma until I saw them on the tour. I am now definitely Seneca. Magma reminded me too much of my Evoque Red and did not wow me in the same way as Seneca..... and Hethel and Verdant LOL

We saw it in the well lit factory and yes it is definitely (dark) green at 50m. In reduced light it might be harder to tell but I have not seen it in those conditions.

I'd give them a call as you should be able to get a link and specify your car now..... and hand over £3000 as well. I sent a message and got a pretty prompt response from them with a custom link to the configurator.

Another delayed message - Nov build Dec delivery. i4 FE ordered 8th July, only 3 days before the OP but I guess a very busy 3 days for deposits.

Birthday trip to the Factory booked for the afternoon of the 1st June with the Wife. Picked my colour (Seneca) already but still holding a candle for Magma. Maybe see another from here!

I had a call with Lotus customer care today confirming my spec and although mine is an i4 he said that he did not expect the delays to the June deliveries to translate to the i4's and mine should still be Dec 22. . . . . He then ruined it by saying that it might slip to Jan 23 Doh!

It's done, spec choice made, 2nd payment made, back to waiting, Winter delivery whatever that means. Basically show car spec, it blew me away and I kept coming back to it. Very nearly Red.

Another shout out to Alex here, sent an email and got a reply with config link and a heads up on the potential V6 config error. Time to commit to a colour!

I called them yesterday. The 8th is the go live date for i4 configurations, he seemed to think we would get a call but it might be an email. Your deposit date will determine how early you get one and i4 builds will start in "Autumn". I could not get a delivery date from them other than I was an...

Interesting data point, 1H 2023 for an end of July order is a long gap from the June 2022 deliveries of early July orders

Generally that car Hifi is terrible LOL. However KEF is an excellent brand and well thought of and a lot of interest in how well they will implement it

I am a big Hifi fan and am on a Hifi forum where we are gathering a small Emira group as well

I view it as paying for early access and getting the top (ish) spec at the same time. I don't really want all the toys but it will be a daily driver, or at least a regular driver, not a tract toy so a few comforts will pay off I think.

As we seem to be getting closer to ordering our i4 FE, I wonder how early folks placed their deposits and chose the i4 option after the first phone call. I paid on the 8th July but I know a few folks were much earlier than that. I need to know how close to the first build i4's I will be ;)...
