The shifter was a bit to clunky after I fitted the short shifter and was difficult to get into 1st gear. I was a bit disappointed but after 1800 miles the transmission felt much smoother. I think the break-in really did make a difference.

In my experience the speedometer is pretty accurate, difference only up to 1 mph compared to the GPS speed at cruising.

Emira is still lighter than Supra. Manual cars are not the most consistent to launch. I wouldn't be surprised if the Supra wins in another go.

Most V8s on the market have gone turbo hybrid due to the latest emission standards or even downsized to V6 or i4. I don't think there is any chance that a NA V8 + manual can pass the tests these days.

I had VC installed prior to the 3rd cat delete. I think VC actually increased the volume much more than the cat delete if you have it always open. The cat delete makes the exhaust sounds deeper and throatier. You can also hear more pops.
