FE V6 Manual always has a LSD ;)

The 2GR is a great engine nevertheless. Very reliable, great sound, very linear power output and still a decent weight. I think it‘s a perfect fit for the Emira, and the power output will be perfect for having the most fun possible no matter whether you are driving on track or on the road.

why do you all only consider V6 manual or i4 DCT? You could also go for V6 automatic which is my actual choice. I might switch to manual as well, but I also really enjoy shifting via paddles and get those perfect downshifts all the time even on a normal commute.

BMW Engine in every single aspect except the sound. To be fair, the BMW engine Ist 10-15 years newer.

Weight will shift either way regardless of the roll, but if the car rolls a bit more, it‘s easier for you to feel how the weight shifts and how the car behaves, so it‘s easier to drive near it‘s limits and gives you more room to play.

This is not true to be fair. Alcantara is a brand name, not a material. Of course there are a lot of similar products, but there also are big differences in quality. The original Alcantara is very expense, so they don‘t make a lot more money if they sell it for the same price as the leather...

Can anybody maybe draw a comparison to the Evora 400 regarding engine sound? It would be great if the Emira could keep up with the Evora, which to me sounds absolutely brilliant. It‘s a pity that it‘s not allowed anymore to have the flaps open all the time, but maybe the sound is comparable...

They chose to do the FE, because a (nearly) fixed config is easier to produce and helps to get the new production line running more fluently ;)

True, but because they only CAN sell something like a 1.000 units due to limited production, the price might be quite ok.

Are the modes also confirmed for Germany? +200 RMP idle doesn‘t sound like it‘s meeting all our requirements and restrictions 😅 regarding that: does anybody know if the sound of the grey V6 Prototype is the same as for the Production cars hitting Germany/Europe? It sounds quite loud for a 2022 car.

My dealer got all the information, prices, and so on.

Why is anybody left in the dark? Prices are known, specs are known, configurator is online, etc. Of course there are some rumors, but that‘s quite normal I guess. And maybe one or two questions left as well, but I think that everybody will be informed about all the important details before...

The GT4 RS is faster on track than most 700+ BHP cars ;) Power isn't everything.

Of course you are right that no Emira will ever be that quick, but if you say looks ist the only plus point for the Emira, than you don't know Lotus at all. Fun and driving pleasure are not defined by fast lap times.

It was written in the final spec sheet which was uploaded by TomE that they will use the 1750. I can't find the thread with the sheet anymore, but maybe somebody else could put in a link.

Can anybody tell me why only the manual cars get the LSD (same as with the Evora)? And would you consider this as a problem if you want to have fun with your Auto Emira on road and track?

Doesn’t answer my question, but I have the same opinion on that. It should have adaptive cruise control. But from what I’ve read, they decided to deliver FE car‘s without ACC (and without all the other „ADAS“ features they once praised) without even telling customers.

So is it a hundred percent confirmed, that there won't be any ADAS features at all? Or is it just the Radar? I pre-ordered an Emira, but completely lost track...
