What doesn't make any sense is (unless I am incorrect) putting many other ADAS features but the one that likely has the most impact, blind spot, omitted. Just baffles me.

Yeah it’s very surprising especially given the price of the car and the blind spots it has. I’m really hoping it’s a MY 25 addition.

great to hear its doing well as a DD. On the brief test drive I did, I noticed it didn't have the blind spot monitor, which I use all the time in my cars. I felt the Emira had some decent blind spots. Surprising given it has all the sensors....almost like an oversight like they forgot it...

Is it for sure known that a base with all of the added options of a FE will be a lot more in price? Or similar in cost?

So if they are done producing FEs, does that mean all auto v6 cars will be base and none will be FE?

out of curiosity, that says Galpin Lotus and Beverly hills lotus. I assume the Galpin one is in Van Nuys. Didn't know there was one in Beverly Hills. Cant find it on the dealer locator.

Interesting. I’ve been communicating with them. They don’t always answer my questions though. They require a slightly higher deposit as well. There are only 2 dealers in so cal and neither are impressive but Galpin is absolutely horrible. Any specific feedback about EurocarOC? Only other option...

Is it just me or is Galpin the worst dealer in terms of communication? They never call you back or respond to emails. Even when you go to the dealership they ignore you. I have never seen a dealership act this way. There is no way I’m buying from them.

I've been cross shopping the MC20 as well. They don't seem to be selling, especially at the price dealers want. Price should be lower than they currently are. I think Maserati has the worst depreciation of all the luxury/exotic brands.

Me being new to Lotus, do they typically come out with new variants like S or R types etc that add more hp/torque etc? If so in what year of the product cycle do they come out? Or is this info already available? (for NA).

Thanks for sharing that. That is a great comparison. It surely does have a purple hue to it compared to the Seneca blue. It’s funny how by itself it has a deep rich blue color. I think the Seneca has a little more of that exotic color to it. My 2 cents.

Its odd how Atlantis blue looks almost purple on the configurator. But these pics on here look great. It would be great to see a seneca next to an Atlantis blue full car pic.

When I did my test drive of the automatic last week I was instructed not to use the paddle shifters as I was told an update was required that hadn’t been done and would cause problems if I used them. I don’t recall how the shifting was otherwise.

Yeah laggy DCT doesn't sound good. That's very odd and not the norm. I don't agree with this widely held premise of auto's not being a drivers car. That seems to be a popular point of view that I don't share as there is so much that goes into the entire experience...the trans is only one part...

I had read about the Aisin for the v6 somewhere. I’m not familiar if other Lotus cars have ever used dct. Either way it’s odd to me to have different transmissions. Wonder how the dct compares to the aisin? Shift times etc. I really liked my prior car with a dct. Was very impressive. I suspect...

btw perhaps this info exists somewhere but why is the i4 DCT and the v6 isn't? DCT's are great in sports cars...super smooth shifts for us going for automatics.

Its more for off the line fun/acceleration. The seat of your pants feeling when you press on it. The top end seemed ok. I'm all for more hp as well, but for the time I had with it I found this part lacking a bit. Still a totally fun car no doubt. I'm not a track guy. Just DD fun!

It really does need some more low end torque to get going. I too am hoping for variants down the road. Hopefully sooner rather than later!

When I’ve looked at that before it all looks the same. There doesn’t seem to be a difference between the base and FE. I need to look at it again but it looked the same before.

I was just looking at the pics I took of the car I test drove and I'm fairly certain I see sensors front and back. When I backed up the camera didn't come on and not once did the sensors turn on. Perhaps they were turned off? Aren't these same sensors used to aid the blind spot systems in cars?

Completely agree...Its saved me several times. Given the driving position and the blind spots with this car, it would make sense. Perhaps they add it later. I don't recall, does the car have parking sensors? I don't recall seeing them.
