It would be great if someone with the actual car would measure the exact clearance. with the distance from the front edge to wheel listed in the diagram and the angle of 7.9 degrees, that calculates to approx 132mm (5.2"). Sometimes real life doesn't always match what is shown on a diagram

Not sure what you mean by hopefully a few of us are protected. Lotus has stated those that have an actual order against an allocation that was placed last Mar-Jun (the FE 1.0 group) are price protected with the previous price. If you aren't in that group then you will be paying the higher price.

looks great. They're aren't any hyrdodippers near me but a couple hours away. By the time I get the car, it will be nasty winter anyway so if there aren't any real carbon options by then I will likely do the trip as it definitely makes the area look much better than the cheap plastic

Just heard that Gator has sent an update with a good bit of info. Should be forthcoming shortly. No price increase for initial FEs, more FEs coming, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember as the email was lengthy when read to me

I heard that because they only scheduled 3 hours (30min tea break you know), they don't have time to discuss updates, pricing, news on the Emira. Only time for Electre, Etat, Elbow, and Eray (oh wait that is already taken). Will be scheduling another meeting in May just to keep everyone...

Yeah, I just said something about this on the 'other' thread. There was a four month window Mar-Jun where orders were placed. And every order received a confirmation back from Lotus accepting the order for production. What's odd is that some people here still think they've ordered an FE but...
