I'm just curious how to do it. I have a bit over 1/2" of fore and aft play I'd like to reduce to 1/8" or so, which would be consistent with the side to side play.

This is not true, some dealers are overcharging and being dicks, not all by any stretch. Mostly Florida/Texas/Cali dealers doing it.. Don't buy from them.. let them sit on floor plans and cost them money. Down with scum dealers!!! :)

Same, this is popular stuff in the S2000 forums! Its great stuff. I use it on all my cars for years. Brought my old jeep seals around. Wipe it on when warm, let sit, overnight if possible, wipe excess off in AM.

I dont recall the last time I used that mirror on any car. Just use the rear view, or.... Push both of the side mirror buttons at the same time, then look right. The mirror gives you a nice look of yourself... :)

Yes this is why I'm confused. In theory the one I have should be overkill at 3A. I think the max it should pull would be under 2A. I do have a 1.5mm case and a 2mm space on the 3d print, but 3.5mm should be well within the range for a magsafe. I did try it without the case as well.
