Have any current Emira owners tried removing the mesh around the exposed gear mechanism yet and how easy is it to do? I feel like it distracts from the visual a bit, so if easy to remove, I would definitely do it. Can’t imagine that would effect any warranty’s etc ……. Thanks

Thanks. Yes, think reversing half way with mirrors down is a good idea. I did see a hack which sounded simple and useful. Put tram lines (coloured duck tape) on both sides in line with the gaps, which lead out your garage about a meter. Then reverse in inline with those tram lines. Seems...

Hi All, Hoping any people with a narrow single garage can help. I have a very narrow entry to my garage (2130mm), so it will just fit with 5cm each side with Emira mirrors in!! It opens up to 2900 mm once in, so hopefully enough room to allow the driver out if I drive in at a slight angle...

Think it was a fair comment. Not sure what the aggression was for. Think Shadow will be rare and desirable and glad the show car didn’t shine.

I Totally agree. I genuinely can’t think of many cars (If any) at ANY price point that beat the Emira on looks. Think aesthetically it’s almost perfect from every angle!

Yes, should have added. Did that on an average of 8000 miles a year which is what I’d guess if do. Would daily all through summer and drive as much as possible in winter

I’m 70% in. Awesome car and heart says Emira, just need a few other test drives as comparions to confirm. Seems our friends across the pond are more positive than us moaning brits and seem mainly IN. Possibly as the car will be rarer over there too and the FE is actually limited.

Drove my mates boxter 4.0 up in the Pennines and was an awesome car and had loads of fun. But it still doesn’t pull at my heart strings the same way the Emira does. Think the emira is the only car I’d consider buying new .
