Is that their rate for used cars? I suspect their rate for new PCP or HP is much lower. Lotus Finance currently sits at 6.9% for Emira PCP so an increase to 11.1% would be suicidal
I suspect you are right - unless you are buying on finance in which case every month that goes by with another 0.5% - 1% increase in APR increases the monthly payments...
Just to be clear - is it still the case that nobody has received the call to arrange delivery in 30 days time? Have I missed an announcement that there won't be any customer deliveries in July?
I know I’m a dinosaur but wouldn’t it have been great to shave a few minutes of watching three clowns driving lorries to be able to see how fast the Stig could’ve hooned the lovely Emira round the Top Gear track…
Harris would choose one over a Cayman. Epic steering and gear box. No one builds sports cars for British roads better than Lotus. The only “negative” was that it was ‘old’ technology - but it is a “classic”. Awesome.
Yes I'm actually used to trudging around in the Ranger now - very practical! Funnily enough if you go on the configurator on the Lotus website today it still says "Spring 2022"...
I hope you're right! With the 30-day notice period, it currently means the earliest delivery for the first customers would be 16th July so I'm now assuming that my 'August' delivery is very unlikely to be the first half of August - which means I may as well wait another couple of weeks to get a...
Wooo Hoooo! Bring on the excitement! I saw a dark blue Emira (not camoflauge paint) on the road near Norwich yesterday afternoon. I almost crashed as I couldn't stop gawping. It looked stunning and sleek on the road.
I've gone for tan in the Seneca blue. I think it looks awesome but haven't heard too many others with that combo. Would be interested to hear what others think (don't hold back)!
I just called Lloyds and they confirmed you need to have an account with them for three months to qualify. Fingers crossed Lotus will at least match that, and if not, I'll just switch my account to Lloyds :ROFLMAO:
If you're listening Lotus - this is the finance deal you need to match...

Yes Porsche are around 5.9% APR. But I hope Lotus go one step further and match the APR on a new Alpine A110 (which is probably a closer competitor) which is currently 4.9%. That 1% makes a big difference to the monthly payments...
Absolutely. Would you be happy to share the contact details of your finance broker? You might want to ask them for some referral commission if you publish their details on this forum!
