really hope they do sort it for you, but would also understand if you just can't get that bitter taste off even if they did... this kind of thing really bugs me, had it on cars of past, where sure the car has niggles, but is overall solid... but when their PEOPLE and attitude to the customer...

Saw a green euro plated Eletre going through Towcester on the British GP weekend. If not for the lovely green paint work, doubt it would have caught my attention. Definitely didn't have people stopping in the street like some other classic Lotus might

you've certainly got a point re the number of FE... I'd guess they have gone over whatever they initially intended, thus over saturated things a bit, kind of loses some of its mystique and allure... obviously still a lovely car, but surely another reason people flocked to it, the exclusivity

Yes, think balanced and transferable is best way to describe power output. My BMW even with x-drive and about 410bhp feels easier to displace than the Emira

Hi all - did not realise how full this thread was already... Back from Lotus Driver Academy day at Hethel this weekend, so thought if this feedback helps even one person... Now, first things first, about me - I would NOT claim to be any kind of driving hot shot at all, so I hope this review...

sorry, haven't seen any - but in a M440i currently (yes the piggy face one), but can vouch for the 3.0 engine and xdrive being incredibly potent all things considered, so image with the weight saving on M240, these would be great fun. Sadly only thing with BMW is you have to get over the looks...

those Evora's from what I've seen/heard have a more organic exhaust note, one of the perks of slightly older cars which had less restrictions imposed on them..? Have to admit, they (like most Lotus to be fair) hold a nice timeless design to them as well... and they're available if you look hard...

I have heard this a few times now, with people telling me, I can't order a FE... but then the penny dropped... I'm in England and anyone telling me I couldn't was not... sorry to hear they seem to now be shutting off countries for the FE
