Great news to see another Lotus plan coming to fruition. But has anyone asked Lotus Cars (and got a sensible answer) about how it proposes to support the huge global installed fleet it is threatening to accumulate if sales claims are based on the truth?

I hear that the London Showroom should be getting an Evija back on display next month (but not a Fittipaldi). They have merchandise now but as of last weekend still no payment mechanism - another example of Lotus literally not letting its customers give them money!

I don't understand why Lotus didn't just stick with the Morris Marina door handles and Rover SD1 tail-light clusters :)

Emira has same wheel base as Evora, as far as I'm aware. And Evora was a 2+2 like 911. Harry M also did some analysis of weight distribution and said it was more comparable with 911 than Boxster/Cayman (ie further aft than latter, IIRC). Here's another pic with a 911 (997)...

Hopefully Meridian will look as good as Nightfall Blue does on the Evora (pic via Stratton Motor Co)

Interesting to hear how the two UK sportscars compare dynamically. This is my DV with the even more expensive 720S at Bremont recently - Hethel certainly holds its own over Woking, looks wise!

If they follow the Chapman philosophy, it will be when the stock of yellow badges runs out...
