My dealer told me that I was not able to make any changes to my FE 1.0 order…When the 2.0 colors came out, I asked if I could select a 2.0 color.

Agreed. The cost-benefit analysis for Lotus would likely dictate that it makes no sense to build cars for the NA market until they obtain regulatory approval…production should begin immediately after all approvals are received. That will save Lotus the hassle of shipping cars during hurricane...

Except when you consider the price increase if you didn’t get an allocation for a FE 1.0…My “surcharge” is $7500. Considering the price increase, I’m still in the money.

I recall that my scheduled drive (this past November) lasted about 15 minutes or so.

My dealer just texted me that I’m officially in the first group of builds for First Editions. Over 2 years since my initial deposit…16 months since my order was submitted.

I think it is for every US FE V6…It is in line with other rumors we have heard.

I bought the car as a CPO BMW in 2012 with only 7000 miles on it and am the second owner. I’ve traded it in on other cars twice, but bought it back each time - it’s that great! It has 36K miles on it now. If I were ever to sell it (again) it would be for a lot…Feel free to make me a compelling...

Actually, if builds get pushed out substantially again, I’ll probably start looking in earnest to get something else.

August is for FE 2.0 builds…I heard that first allocation FEs are on schedule.

Yeah…Until you do a track day and the front end lifts up on a fast straight…

I asked my dealer after the FE 2.0 colors were announced…I was told no changes to my FE 1.0 configuration.

This morning, my dealer confirmed Gator’s information and said that it is working on a communication to depositors that will go out between today and Monday.

0-60 is apparently around 18 months for those of us in the U.S. with confirmed submitted FE V6 orders…Others on this forum may never see 60mph!

No prices listed…and selecting them did not change the “out the door” price. But I only selected the lower black pack…as well as Homelink and window tinting.
