Ah ha! We have an explanation.
I was considering asking for a recommendation as to what you had been smoking but it turns out it was dentist’s drugs. Get well soon.
The hole has been there since (before) day one.
This is a pic I took of the pre-production roadshow car in November 2021.
It’s...
There are no front wheel well holes.
Those pictures are of the rear wheel. The stones are being kicked up by the front tyre.
If your detailer is getting that wrong you shouldn’t even trust them with a sponge.
On the CarPlay section of Apple’s website it specifically says to connect by cable first to setup the wireless connection properly. Don’t try to setup a Bluetooth connection first, it’s not necessary.
Then accept the prompts on the phone to connect wirelessly from then on. CarPlay sorts out the...
Not as sad as you’ll be when you actually see it:
A sheet of rubber stuffed up under the screen.
Complete with a channel to collect water.
And if access is required to the fusebox it’ll have to be dragged out and stuffed back in afterwards.
I didn’t like the look of it so tidied mine up:
I used a plastic trim tool and worked from front to back as the service notes suggest.
Take the rubber mat at the front out first then lever up at the outside of the silver part a little at a time evenly side to side and it will gradually pop up. Don’t be scared!
As I said in my old post, my...
Your yellow circle is where the screen washer pipe and heater wires come through, and yes, there is one on both sides.
Here’s another pic of that area stripped (from my windscreen replacement adventures)
That hole is directly above the hvac assembly (on my rhd car) so it could be the weak point…
I could take issue with about every third sentence in a very lazy review.
And I’m very bored now with people who can’t be bothered to do their research calling it a “throttle actuator/linkage/valve”.
I had a different problem when I tried to install this.
(I’ve used your pic @Kimmax hope that’s ok)
First gear was difficult to engage because the body of the adapter was making contact with the eye of the shift cable when pulled back to 1st gear position. (Red circle)
It was so bad that I...

Note what I said about what the controller was developed for.
No calibration needed with the valve controller on its own.
It just interrupts the factory control to be open/closed or doesn’t interrupt and keeps the standard gradual-opening setup. That’s what the 3 buttons do.
You’d only need calibration if the valve itself is removed or replaced with...
No problem.
I posted that over a year ago and someone finally noticed…
Seriously though, no-one seems to do a search on here.
There are loads of topics that have been done to death by us oldies just waiting for people to find.
List pice in GB is £1262, so around $1600.
Have a read here for other windscreen woes:

Well, every Lotus Bilstein I’ve seen has grooves, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t suddenly changed…
When I eventually took my front damper off I found it was already on the lowest groove (sport setup) so no free lowering. 😢
I’d guess they forgot to reconnect the sensor. It doesn’t need calibration.
You can pop the mirror shroud off easily to check. It’s just clipped to the screen.

Prices plus 20% UK VAT.
Less than I was quoted when I was having mine done.
It was supposedly £1632 +vat last summer.
Seems Lotus parts prices are as random as all their other promises.
