Is this normal for Android Auto? The arrow (car location) on the Google Maps display is off-centered to the right. It happens on both full screen display, or if the side menu (media/suggested locations) is present. This is my first experience using Android Auto, so I dont have any previous experience to go by.

Mine doesn't do that. I don't have satellite view active though. Try switching to the standard view and see if it changes.

Yes - that is normal.

I think it is to give room for details, such as route directions, on the other side.

The arrow can move around a little when following a route and move more to the centre but mostly it is offset.

Non satellite view is the same for me.

I tried AA in my Porsche Cayenne for the first time this evening, to see if it was any different, and low and behold, the arrow is centered up. Must be an Emira thing?

Interesting. I suspect it may be different per make of car and the type and size of display. There's probably differences in the version of Android Auto too (CoolWalk etc).

It can't matter much that the arrow is not centred as I had been using it for months without realising the arrow wasn't centred until you mentioned it.
