Anyone with August first deposit in USA?

Originally the Dates were November if you placed order in US this month? Has the time shifted here also? I am supposed to place mine next month which may mean mid Q12023?

What makes a FE so special?

Anyone have any idea what the “options” are on the FE over what will be included in the base? Just trying to understand what the included options are with the FE. Also, heard a rumor that there is a color or two that will be limited to the FE only? Anyone else hear that? Thanks for any info.

    Dealer Markups (Stateside)?

Agree on all points as usual Tom. Just wish I had as much faith in lotus and the dealers as you did. I’ll send my details along to Lotus if I decide to tap out. I can and will post the details here also. :). Can’t before because I’ll lose my spot for sure, that’s what I was told…. Again...

    Dealer Markups (Stateside)?

Agree on the surprise factor! Could not agree more. The unknown is the depreciation percentage on the Emira when compared to the GT4 and RS. They have ADH but may be able to absorb it from a depreciation % standpoint. Most GT4s out there (no matter the year) are selling second hand over what...

    Dealer Markups (Stateside)?

They may be but they never tracked the order you put your deposit in. They can go down the list and call ALL deposit holders with a valid deposit confirmation to get their markeup. Make sense? All they have to do is say. Damn, you didn’t make the first allocation cut for a FE but someone just...

    Dealer Markups (Stateside)?

Meh, mostly true. The only thing that is not true and happening now is dealers ARE charging markup to original deposit holders. They are getting around the argument because there was no universal deposit tracking system put in place by Lotus. So dealers are calling saying. “Aw man, you didn’t...

    Dealer Markups (Stateside)?

Thinking of tapping out for this same reason. You can say what you want about other brands such as Porsche. At least they are up front about the whole thing and you can decide BEFORE you order. Issue I have is that you put a deposit down and wait several months only to be told when it’s down to...

    Production Updates & U.S. Delivery Timing (V6FE)

From what I understand, ALL orders are considered "submitted" on the 20th of each month. So This month, people are called and asked to finalize their order and pay the remaining extortion/deposit (kidding) by the 20th of April. I think its best to plan on the start and add 4 to 8 weeks. So...

    Production Updates & U.S. Delivery Timing (V6FE)

Hello everyone! I wanted to reach out and ask those of you that have placed your build order or your car is in production. Is Lotus on TIME or are there any production delays that you have been communicated? Also, I have seen the production schedule on here and, I guess, I'm not following it...

U.S. Update: Allocation & Order Date

Put it on a cc or amx. They will refund you for no services or product received. I always put mine in amx, no questions asked chargeback to dealer.

    Value of FE

I agree on the I4 vs V6 customers... Lots of reasons choosing one over another. For me, I know the Mercedes engine has been proven out across many platforms but I have owned two Mercedes and wont do it again! it will be a lot more expensive to maintain in the long run.

    Value of FE

Idk if it has ever been 100% verified because there are 400 threads on this. But from everything I have read, FE is a limited edition and everything will transition to a “base” with options after the FE. The way I understand it, ~700ish FE V6 in the US for first editions. Again, not sure if that...

    Payment options

I’m in the cc/debt card industry. It doesn’t matter if you use a cc or debit card, there are still processing fees involved. 100% the same worldwide. Bank cards, cc and debit cards all go through the same digital rails that cost the merchant money (some pass this fee on to the consumer). This is...
