When they sold you one did you have to get any initial programming done to lock it to the car?
Did you ever get that new ECU installed before the lemoning?
If someone bought one from a dealer can they send it directly to you for bench tuning...
Be careful. Even though they wont be working its highly likely that there will be cones, tape and people driving and biking slow around all of that work.
Agreed that should have been the launch green. I was expecting more pop for the orange though. Especially given the price they want for it. They should have just done Chrome orange again. I guess the autumn bronze will remain mysterious for now.
I think the best solution would be to remove the 3 factory cats, relocate your sensors to the 3rd cat location and make a flange attached cat at the 3rd cat location that you can swap in and out as needed. In the 3rd cat location you only have to remove the diffuser and if its a flanged...
I got the error on Monday ironically starting it up to go to the dealer for a different service. They have me scheduled for the latest update as well. Ill report back when I get the car back hopefully next week.
Screws are cheap and easy to engineer. Latches are fiddly and more money. Plus theres nothing in there to do if you arent planning on busting out tools anyways.
The price differential is too big for what amounts to new paint and wheel choices. I would love a purple one but I'm not paying 20k + depreciation for it.
The point of ppf is that its sacrificial and can be reapplied if damaged. This doesn't have that. There's no way this is completely impervious to damage so it sounds like its going to add extra pita when that damage happens.
I'm still happy with the floating console. I've never dropped anything in there or anything. I made sure to tell my kids not to stick their fingers in there.
