    Luggage for Behind-Seat Shelf

I used to use the Liber-t tool tag but when I was going to Italy last year found Bip & Go, an alternative that works in France, Italy, Spain and Potugal. Same size as the Liber-t but slightly different mounting tab. I’ve hidden mine behind the mirror shroud: Works out slightly cheaper but...

    Luggage for Behind-Seat Shelf

56x45x25 is the standard Easyjet large carry-on size. There are many options available in that size. I had two Samsonite semi-soft ones that fit perfectly on their sides, with room on top for some more stuff without blocking the rear view.

How to adjust rear bumper ?

Key is locked in the car

    Screenwash bottle lid

Got rid of some of the uglyness of the screenwash cap: Cut off the excess and worked through the sandpaper grades to get an acceptable finish. I know there are billet covers available but they only make the cap even bigger. Such a utilitarian thing should really be hidden away under a cover...

    Puddle/Footwell lights

Noticed that the footwell lights are the same fitting as the puddle lights so… Can’t decide if it’s the best or worst mod I’ve ever done! I had already done the puddle lights: The rear headlining, glovebox and boot lights are also the same fitting, so we could have fancy leds to...

    Speedometer, Off?

It’s to account for tyre wear iirc. A tyre with typical 8mm tread will have about 2.5% less circumference when it’s bald than when it’s new. So it will be spinning faster at any given real (gps) speed and the car’s speedo will read higher.
