So since launch we have had a really good uptake in the warranty and as more cars are turning 3 we are seeing a real uptick in new members joining us which is amazing its far surpassed my expectations so far.
We have seen a couple of other guys copy the idea but ours is the original and best...
Our labour rates are up to £150
We have also upped the claim limit to £7000. Our terms will be continually tweaked to make sure it's the original and best warranty for the Emira (and other Lotus cars!) No other providers do these term as far as I'm aware. If there's any term on a competitor...
The UK isn't a big market for Lotus in the grand scheme of things. Nobody is going to be buying the post FE cars as they are just so expensive and crucially it looks like Porsche are going again with the Cayman with Engines so a new GT4.0 and GT4 are big competition that will hold money a bit...
The data in the V6 cars is endless I would assume it will be similar in the Emira when we can eventually get at it.
We have The top 5 Revs reached
Top 5 coolant temps
Standing starts
Highest G loading
Total engine runtime
Total KM covered
Theres a lot more than that but thats the basics
None of this stuff matters to the bank. You will need their prior agreement to default on payment don't forget if you are in breach of contract if you don't pay.
All this stuff takes time to resolve though and you are just a number with a bank so if you default on it you'll get a marker on your credit file. threatening to withhold payment over a customer service issue with the car maker is a separate issue to the finance agreement you have taken out. I...
I would recommend you take it into Lotus and get them to do an ECU read. There have been very well documented issues with the V6 Exige with how poorly the V6 Engine handles over revs. The Cam followers can detach but give no symptoms until the car is exposed to enough G force to dislodge them...
I would strongly advise against this course of action. You may think its a protest against Lotus but the bank agreement you have and the car are two separate things. Speak to the bank you might be able to get a rebait for time the car has spent off the road but if you simply fail to make a...

So a while back the subject of warranties was brought up and Lotus taking their eye off the ball and not really pushing an aftermarket warranty and I said we would look at it. Well we are going to be launching an extended warranty offer in the coming weeks and basically wanted to open this...
