Any more views on this? I ordered a V6 manual Emira in May 22 (due Q2 2024) and purchased a used F-Type SVR to entertain myself in the meantime (after a test drive of an Emira in Dec 2023). Based on my short test drive of the Emira, it is clearly more of a sports car than the F-Type but I do now...

Just chatted online with customer service to ask how much earlier and they couldn’t say and agreed it might not actually be earlier! But they also confirmed deposit remains refundable until check out so need to decide what to do… it doesn’t help that I have just bought a different car (F-Type)...

It‘s different for me - just logged in and there is an option to change my original configuration so not a cancellation.

Anyone else had something similar - have to decide in next 5 days to get “earlier” option. My car was not due until Q2 2024 so no idea how soon “earlier” means….

Nice looking F-Pace - good choice, have been very happy with mine. Jaguar are certainly not perfect but I feel much safer (more likely to do the right thing) dealing with Jaguar than with Lotus

That does look similar - slightly darker perhaps…but BUT blue wheels!! Have always had a soft spot for the MX5 - I was genuinely considering one as an alternative to spanking loads of money on an SVR/Emira. A good car is a just a good car!

I’m told it’s just careful hand wash/snow foam - no polishing! I really didn’t think I’d like a satin finish - I’ve always liked to clean/polish/shine my cars but this particular colour just works (at least for me). Never thought I’d love a “grey” coloured car!

Thanks Tom - that’s good to know - just need to work out how to keep SVR AND still take delivery of the Emira (that really would be my dream combo…but divorce can be expensive!)

It’s a special SVO colour called Scafell grey satin - the satin effect really shows of the shape - a key reason for picking this car (have been looking for an SVR for over 2 months and couldn’t resist this one)
