I didn't mean they over reported the 2.0T in China. What I meant is the 2.0T does produce 400hp or more from the beginning, but Lotus just under reported the number to differentiate it from the V6. It is very common tricks automakers to justify the premium they charge on the higher spec models.

I wonder if the CN version and ROW version are both 400hp, but they under report it just for marketing reason. Since they are not getting the V6 in China, they can just rate it at 400.

The question is whether it makes economical sense to build a second production line for a low production volume car...we are talking about 5000 cars globally a year...

I was also told by my dealer that markets without V6, i.e. China, will have priority in I4 slots.

Just want to get people's opinion here: I put in my deposit last year because I thought I can get a car that is comfortable, good looking(supercar look), and affordable (relatively). I was recently notified by the dealer that the i4 will be USD204K (vs 216K for the V6). They still have one...

I wasn't sure about the new date, but there I believe it has already been pushed back for many markets...I was told the I4 will first go to countries that are not offering the V6...i.e. China.... My concern is that there does not seem to be a single I4 prototype?
