@steveoexige - how are EST doing with the CPC module - any breakthroughs?

It's such a sad story when you look back to the excitement of the Goodwood launch. So many bumps in the road - some self-inflicted but others just awful timing. I still think the Emira will be a future classic whatever happens in the near term.

The classic designs like the Griffith and Tuscan look so much more appealing to me. But maybe it's an age thing :)

Also, can confirm it happens with wireless Carplay and Waze in my car too but only very occasionally. There's no rhyme or reason to it. Next time it works normally again.

Another one here. I've had it happen a handful of times in 1.5 years, always when I open the door when it's been standing in the garage for a while. It's surprisingly loud and it does sound like something bad happened. It doesn't happen enough to get used to it so it's always a bit of a shock!

Any updates yet from EST on their progress?

Given we know the UK has a detuned 400bhp map, +30bhp seems a little underwhelming? Hopefully they will be able to do better in time.

Also, I thought they'd addressed the early issues with D-N-R shifts and also paddle shift responsiveness. I wonder if this is something on top of that or just catching up with what's already available in the UK?

Hmm - there's been lots of chat on this and other tuning forums about the fact that modern cars log stats like peak revs and peak boost etc. From that info, manufacturers have been able to reject warranty claims for engine or transmission failures where the stock limits have been exceeded.
