Mine randomly started after a year. It was also fixed during my annual service by moving the number plate further away from the sensors. Apparently it's a common issue. Not had a single false trigger since.

Where did you install this, did you post about it in the sub thread? To my ears the stereo sounds quite bright so I would be interested in a sub before tweeters but I don't want to lose the rear space behind the seats.

I know - I've never seen a speaker package that costs as much as the car! Maybe worth a try nevertheless if their hourly rate isn't too high.

Also, I wonder if the whole carbon craze has peaked. It's been all about carbon add-ons for the past 10 years but I actually prefer the Emira's gloss black. Plus, the weight savings were always negligible for a few strips here and there.

Same fix sorted mine too.

Mine has behaved fine since I had it installed. There was some uncertainty about which immobilisation method it would be using. In the end it was done with a gearbox lock on my i4 but I'm guessing yours was done via CANBUS?

For anyone worried about any regression from the new updates. I can confirm I had everything applied (UK) last weekend and I had no issues before and still none after.

I think he liked it :) There were a few inaccuracies but I'm prepared to forgive him, given his enthusiasm. Whilst the Emira is not a drag race kind of car, those launches were pretty impressive.

That's a whole world of pain. Agreed, having them working intermittently is worse than being oversensitive. The service centre fixed my problem on Saturday by lowering the number plate slightly. Apparently they can pick up a signature from that. Odd why it's only just started doing it recently...
